The Adventures of Diasi

Short description

A simple endless runner game made using Defold engine.

The game was created as a second task during Game Dev School course. This task has taken 2 months of work after hours (everyone of us has a regular job). No one of us knew Defold engine nor lua scripting language before.

The Adventures of Diasi is a simple run and jump endless runner game. All you do is to jump through obstacles and enemies. But be aware, you can only jump twice without landing! If you jump into hole or hit enemy, the game is over.

The game was primarly targeted to mobile platforms (Android) and was published on Google Play Store. Publishing the game was the part of the course's task. 

About

It was a beautiful day. A small alien called Diasi was traveling across the Galaxy. Suddenly he noticed some problems with his spacecraft. Fortunately, he saw a small, unfamiliar planet and decided to land there to check what's wrong. But while he was trying to land, he lost control over the ship and crashed. He was alone in the unknown. None of the systems was working. He was about to cry when he saw a huge mountain with an appealing light. It was so tempting that he couldn't resist touching it. But there was a lot of danger around him and no one to help him discover the planet. So he had to run, watching out for the hostile autochthons...

Try to survive as long as possible. Don't be too confident. There are mysterious and dangerous creatures on this planet. So run and do not look back! Unless you want to die.

Beautiful graphics, exceptional music and fabulous sound effects.

Controls

You can use the mouse to control the game. Just press left mouse button to jump.

However there is some key shortcuts you can use:

* Space - jump (you can only jump twice withou landing!)

* Enter - start game

* D - day/night toggle in the main menu

* R - restart level

* M - main menu button (at the game over scene)

* M - mute (in the main menu)
